We are proud to announce that BusyThumbs now implements full Trackback capability. In its simplest form, trackback allows user A to automatically tell user B when they've written about one of their articles. See the trackback inventors' tutorial or my Dragon blog for more information on how trackback can help you build up a great community.

The latest feature to be added to the site is the picture box, which allows you to display your latest BusyThumbs blog entries on any blog or site with a simple copy and paste of a few lines of HTML. Go check it out.

Within the new control panel, you now have the facility to view all your friends' latest posts at one glance, on the new Friends Digest page. Choose to look for posts 1, 7, 14 or 30 days old.

The user control panel has been completely overhauled and is now brimming with new features like friends lists and the ability to save your favourite pictures. Be sure to check it out!

As you can see the blogs are displaying contextual text ads now. These ads will show up styled according the skin for new ads, but existings blogs will show the ads in their default colours. You can change this by resetting your skin, or manually by customising their colours and adjusting the template. See Advanced Customisation for info on how to change the colours.
